I’m Sunél Pretorius, a proud South African now calling New Zealand home. Like many expats, I craved the flavours I grew up with—especially real, traditional caramel fudge, just like Ouma used to make. So I started making it for friends and family, and the response was overwhelming. Now, I’m thrilled to share this little piece of home with you.
Made the old-fashioned way, with real butter, sugar, condensed milk, and a secret ingredient from home. No shortcuts, no artificial stuff, just creamy, crumbly, rich caramel fudge that melts in your mouth.
Each batch is handmade in small quantities right here in NZ, using my family’s traditional South African recipe.
